SCK2.3 EC B-series 3D printed¶

Measure Indoor or Outdoor Air Quality with this unit. Beyond the metrics from the kit, it can measure chemical parameters with one Alphasense B-series electrochemical sensor!
This enclosure is to be used with the SCK2.3. It's based on the Frog Box design, with additional modifications, remade from scratch in Blender.
Various cover designs
There are various covers that can be used with this enclosure:
- cover_indoor.stl is meant to be used in indoor spaces.
- cover_freestyle.stl is meant to be used with zipties, or hung on a wall but for short-term deployments.
- cover_outdoor.stl is meant to be used with an umbrella, for long-term outdoor deployments.
To use it, you need to print:
- 1x cover of your choice: indoor version, freestyle version or the outdoor version.
- 1x base
- 1x clip
- 2x latches
Printing¶
We have tested this on a Prusa MK3 3D printer, using PLA and the following settings:
- No supports
- 0.2mm layer height
- At least 3 vertical walls
See the slicer capture below:

Additional components¶
- 6x M3 Inserts
- 6x M3x30mm INOX screws
- 2x M3x10mm screws
- 4x M3x6mm screws
- Rubber seal 2.5mm
- Umbrella (for outdoor settings)
Not outdoor by itself
For deployments outdoors, you will need to use the protective umbrella to make sure it doesn't get soaked! The umbrella can be substituted by a physical cover, for instance placing the device protected under a balcony.
